      <image:caption>Dr. Agraharkar is a dual board-certified adult, child, and adolescent psychiatrist based in Brooklyn Heights. She combines extensive clinical training with a warm, collaborative approach, ensuring every patient and family feels heard, valued, and empowered throughout their care. Education &amp; Clinical Training Dr. Agraharkar earned her medical degree from the NYU School of Medicine, where she was honored with the Herman Wortis Award for Excellence in Psychiatry and Neurology. She completed her adult psychiatry residency across NYU Langone, Bellevue Hospital, and the Manhattan VA, followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at NYU/Bellevue. During her fellowship, she served as Chief Resident of Bellevue’s Children’s Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CCPEP) and taught undergraduate coursework on narrative medicine and mental illness. Leadership &amp; Clinical Experience Prior to opening her private practice, Dr. Agraharkar spent years treating complex, high-acuity psychiatric conditions: Bellevue CCPEP: Served as Interim Director during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and subsequently as Associate Director. NYC Administration for Children’s Services (ACS): Worked as a psychiatric consultant supporting vulnerable youth and families. Inpatient Care: Provided telepsychiatry crisis care for inpatient child and adolescent units with Integrated Psychiatric Consultants. Research &amp; Professional Affiliations Dedicated to advancing the field, Dr. Agraharkar maintains her academic appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU and Bellevue Hospital. She has authored published textbook chapters on pediatric sleep health and emergency child psychiatry, and she remains an active member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP).</image:caption>
